Robert currently serves as Treasurer on the boards of three local charities groups:

Saddle Up! in Franklin, TN.
Saddle Up! is the place where all children are equal in the saddle. It’s Middle Tennessee’s oldest and largest riding center offering equine-based programs exclusively for children with disabilities. Robert has been on the Board since 2011 and serving a Treasurer since 2017.

Cheatham County Animal Awareness Foundation (“CCAAF”) in Pegram, TN.
CCAAF provides:
- low-cost spay/neuter services to residents of Cheatham County,
- a non-profit support arm as the “Advocates of Cheatham County Animal Shelter”, and
- a non-profit support arm to establish community dog parks throughout Cheatham County.
Robert has been on the board since 2012 as Treasurer.

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal organizations and comprises a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. From its earliest days, Freemasonry has been concerned with the care of orphans, the sick and the aged. This work continues today. Robert was elected Master of the Lodge in 2019 and has been in the elected role of Treasurer since 2020.

Prior to relocating to TN in 2011, Robert has also served in various leadership roles:
- Scoutmaster for ten years in IL,
- West Milford Animal Shelter in NJ,
- Missouri Citizens for the Art in MO,
- Faulkner County Landlord’s Assoc, in AR,
- Arkansas Trail Riders Association in AR,
- Black Stallion Literacy Project/Horse Tales Literacy Project in AR
