People For Animals

Volunteer With Us

People For Animals is an all-volunteer organization. Every hour you give helps more pets in Middle Tennessee get the care they need.

Why Volunteer With PFA?

Since 1986, People For Animals has relied entirely on the dedication of volunteers to carry out our mission. There are no paid staff — every dollar donated goes directly to helping animals. When you volunteer with PFA, you become part of a passionate community working to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare across Middle Tennessee.

All volunteers welcome! Whether you have a few hours a month or want to take on a larger role, we have a place for you. No special experience is required for most positions — just a love of animals and a willingness to help.
