. Since 1986, speaking for those who can't speak for themselves.

PFA has already helped 781 animals

get spayed or neutered in 2024 alone. Donate or volunteer to help us

increase our impact even more.

PFA offers spay/neuter assistance to those pet owners and cat colony caretakers who qualify financially.  We have participating veterinary clinics in Dickson, Lawrence, Lewis and Montgomery Counties. For assistance, call the PFA hotline at 615-794-8925 and leave a message. If you are a Lawrence County resident, call 931-852-4907.  A PFA volunteer will return your call.

PFA is pleased to collaborate with these partner groups to serve three counties:  Cheatham County Paws, Humane Society of Dickson County, and Friends of Lawrence County Animals.

The holidays are here and during this special season, our thoughts often turn to giving to others. If YOUR heart has room for caring about our furry family members, we ask you to include People For Animals and the ultimate kindness of prevention through spay/neuter in your thoughts. Your donation will be DOUBLED by a matching grant and help to PREVENT suffering for so many who would be born and never know the love and warmth they deserve every day of the year.

Your $10 will become $20. Your $50 will become $100, if your heart has room for helping our special furry friends who cannot help themselves. Our grateful hearts say thank you!

Why Adopt?

Shelter animals aren't damaged, they just need a home!  Unwanted Puppies and Kittens eventually wind up in shelters, if they are lucky. National figures indicate that on average, half of the animals in shelters are euthanized for lack of good homes.   Get more info here.
