How the Program Works
Call the Hotline
Call 615-794-8925 and leave a message. Lawrence County residents call 931-852-4907. A PFA volunteer will return your call.
Confirm Eligibility
A volunteer will review your situation and determine whether you qualify for spay/neuter financial assistance through the program.
Get a Referral
PFA will refer you to a participating clinic in your county and provide instructions for scheduling your pet's appointment.
Schedule & Go
Contact the clinic directly to schedule the procedure. Bring any paperwork provided by PFA to your appointment.
Who Qualifies for Assistance?
- Pet owners in PFA's 7-county service area in Middle Tennessee
- Households that need financial help covering the cost of spay/neuter surgery
- Cats and dogs — both owned pets and community/feral cats in some cases
- Call the hotline to discuss your specific situation — PFA volunteers are happy to help
